Cannabis Clinical Trials Congress kicks off this week in London

The International Congress of Clinical Trials with Cannabis will be held on the 24th and 25th of October, in London, CT-Cann2019, an event whose main speaker will be Professor Raphael Mechoulam, considered the “Father” of cannabis research worldwide. It is a scientific congress, which will address the latest evidence and concepts on cannabinoid therapy, also promoting the exchange of ideas and practices in clinical trials with cannabis.

CT-Cann2019 will bring together researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals and the medical cannabis sector, among other experts, to discuss ways to improve current research strategies in this rapidly evolving field. Among other topics, basic and clinical methodologies, regulatory and legal issues, pharmacological considerations and technological advances related to the administration of cannabinoids will be addressed.

The event will take place at the Park Plaza Victoria Hotel, London, at Vauxhall Bridge Road 239, and speakers will include Vincenzo di Marzo, Dedi Meiri, Bonni Goldstein and Silviu Brill.
