Portugal Medical Cannabis accredited by the Ordem dos Farmacêuticos
Pharmacists attending PORTUGAL MEDICAL CANNABIS 2019 can receive up to 1,08 training credits
Portugal Medical Cannabis 2019 (PMC19), organized by the OPCM – Portuguese Observatory of Medicinal Cannabis, has just received the approval of its application for training accredited by the Order of Pharmacists for the areas of Community Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy, Research and Scientific Studies, Industry Pharmaceuticals, Clinical, Bromatological, Hydrological and Toxicological Analysis and Pharmaceutical Distribution.
The credits awarded by the Order to Pharmacists who enroll in PMC19 are as follows:

PMC19, 2nd International Medical Cannabis Conference, has more than 20 speakers from countries such as the United States of America, Israel, Canada, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Panama and Slovenia, and expects more than 500 participants from 20 countries. At the moment, participants from Germany, Argentina, Australia, South Africa, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Colombia, Spain, USA, France, Israel, Netherlands, Macedonia, Portugal, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Zimbabwe are already registered, among which 27 pharmacists.
Students and retirees have a 50% discount on registration and the event also has a free Open Consultation for patients, facilitated by the main doctors speaking at the event, which takes place on the 8th and 9th of November in Lisbon and on the 22nd and 23rd of November in Porto. .

The OPCM is a non-profit association that aims to promote scientific research on the plant Cannabis Sativa, as well as disseminating information about its use for medicinal purposes for the benefit of patients. Comprised of a multidisciplinary team, the OPCM includes doctors, patients, nurses, physiotherapists, lawyers, psychologists, students and journalists, among others.
The OPCM awaits a response from the other Orders (Doctors, Nurses and Psychologists) and will submit applications to credit the Post-Graduation in GMP's for Medicinal Cannabis, which is taking place at the Military Laboratory, and other future training in clinical practice for health professionals .
