Congress debates cannabis regulation on 13 and 14 February in Vienna

O European Congress of Cannabis Rules and Regulations (LR-Cannabis) takes place on the 13th and 14th of February in Vienna, Austria.

According to the organizers of the event, the purpose of the event is to publicize and discuss the requirements and processes of cannabis for medicinal purposes based on laws and other regulations, as well as to present professional knowledge useful to the medical cannabis market.

The event will bring together health professionals, lawyers, jurists and business leaders, with several speakers specialized in these areas, such as Marcia Schofield, founding member of the London Pain Forum, Bernhard Föger, Director of the Institute for Sustainable Plant Production and Deputy Head of the Food Safety Business Unit, being responsible for the Austrian production of medical cannabis, Dr. Jeff Hergenrather, member of the International Association for Cannabinoid Medicine (IACM) and the International Society for Research on Cannabinoids (ICRS) and Piercarlo Sarzi-Puttini, Director of the Rheumatology Unit at L. Sacco University Hospital in Milan, Italy.
