A CB Expo – Cannabis Business Expo will bring together the international cannabis industry on the 11th and 12th of September at the StageOne Convention Hall in Zurich, Switzerland. The event has exhibitors from companies not only from Switzerland but also from dozens of other countries in Europe, the United States, South Africa, Australia and Uruguay, which will present their products and services here. In addition, universities will also showcase the latest research results in plant breeding and several renowned speakers will discuss international cannabis developments and trends.
CB Expo will be opened by Christa Markwalder, National Adviser of the Swiss Free Democratic Party (FDP). In parliament, Christa has always advocated a liberal and pragmatic approach to the hemp plant, most recently in the form of a successful effort to grow and export medical cannabis. The Federal Office for Public Health and the Federal Office for Food and Veterinary Safety will be represented and a number of international guests will be present alongside some of the major Swiss CBD and cannabis companies.
According to the organizers of the event, “the global cannabis market is growing and analysts are predicting numbers that reach billions. Switzerland has established itself as the largest CBD producing country and also as a center of international trade. Soon there will be medical cannabis with a higher THC value, which can be produced in Switzerland for medical use and for export. At the same time, Switzerland is launching pilot projects involving the distribution of cannabis to recreational users. This is reason enough for the CB Expo – Cannabis Business Expo 2021 in Zurich to be ranked as the most important event in the cannabis industry.”
Sébastien Béguerie, Adrian Gschwend, Roberto Algar, Viola Brugnatelli, Lisa Burgel or Rudolf Brenneisen are some of the speakers at the event.
Tickets cost 230 euros a day or 450 euros both days. The CB Expo program and other information about the event can be found at www.cb-expo.ch.
