The Prime Minister of Portugal, António Costa, announced this morning that the adult use of cannabis will finally be legalized in Portugal, with the possibility of self-cultivation of up to 10 plants per residence. Just two days after the constitution of the new government, with a socialist majority, the long-awaited news arrived: the use of cannabis for so-called “recreational” purposes is now completely legal and users can grow it at home without suffering any reprisals.

It's just a pity that this news reached the April 1 day, because we remind our readers that today is April Fools' Day!!

We hope, however, that this false alert has brought a moment of joy, humor and hope to your day and that the legalization of adult cannabis use will be a reality very soon in our country. Happy April 1st to all Cannareporter readers, we continue together in the fight for more and better information about this incredible millennial plant.
