Thirteen arrested for drug trafficking

The GNR, through military personnel from the Lisbon Territorial Command, detained 13 men, as part of a special crime prevention operation, on November 6, in Arruda dos Vinhos and Sobral de Monte Agraço.

As part of an operation to combat crime, the Guard's military carried out several inspections, which resulted in the arrest of 13 suspects for drug trafficking, in the preparation of 64 administrative offences, of which 58 for drug use, and in the seizure of the following material:

– 273 doses of hashish;

– 125 doses of MDMA;

– 35 doses of cannabis;

– 23 doses of cocaine;

– 18 doses of amphetamines;

– 13 LSD stamps.

The action was reinforced by the Public Order Intervention Group, the Cinotechnic Intervention Group and the Special Protection and Relief Unit, of the Intervention Unit.
