Argentina: Mar del Plata hosts Cannabis and Hemp Industry Expo from 7 to 9 April

The city of Mar del Plata, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, receives on the 7th, 8th and 9th of April the ExpoIndustria Cannabis & Cáñamo 2023, an event organized by the Argentine Cannabis Confederation and the Cannabis Industry media outlet. Hundreds of businessmen, industrialists, employees, SMEs, federal and local organizations will gather at the NH Gran Hotel Provincial, in a meeting that has the support of the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Nation and SENASA, as well as the National Institute of Semillas (INASE). “The institutions that are already part of the event usually tell us that society demands effective regulation of the industrial uses of hemp, as well as therapeutic cannabis, and that public and private organizations must act together for the development of this new industry” highlighted Leandro Ayala, president of the Argentine Cannabis Confederation and organizer of the event.

Francisco Echarren, (President of ARICCAME), Gabriel Giménez (ARICCAME/INASE), María Apólito (former undersecretary for the knowledge economy), María Laura Sandoval (expert in cannabis and hemp business), Leandro Ayala (President of the Argentine Confederation of Cannabis), Alejandro Bucciarelli (Researcher at the Universidad Nacional del Sur and co-founder of REPROCANN) and Ramiro Oliveira (Calice Biotech SA) are some of the speakers at the event.

Among the lectures, Silvana Colman, researcher and professor at the National University of Mar del Plata, Diego Felix, from the Cannabis Chamber of Mar del Plata, Piero Liebman, Lawyer and Secretary of the Cannabis Cooperative of Entre Ríos, Rosa Perez , from the Civil Association of Cannabis Veterinarians Argentina – Mar del Plata, Mike Bifari, reference in Cannabis and Hemp, Ricardo Corica, president of the Cannabis Chamber of Mendoza, among other references in Argentina and countries such as Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, USA , Ecuador, Spain, Mexico and Uruguay.

Business and Investments highlighted at ExpoIndustria

The Business Wheel on Cannabis and Hemp Argentina 2023 – B2B will bring together investors, international research institutions and small and medium-sized companies in Argentina on Saturday, April 8, at 22:30 pm, in Sala Rambla.

Entrepreneurs and specialists will give exclusive lectures, where participants will be able to present their businesses in an environment of innovation and alliance in cannabis or hemp and its derivatives. The objective is to generate investments at regional, national and international level.

The Cannabis Confederation organized, in 2021, the first edition of ExpoIndustria Cannabis y Cáñamo, one of the largest cannabis exhibitions on the continent, an event that had more than 100.000 participants in the heart of Argentina, in the province of Chaco, allowing society to have contact with the plant and its economy.
