Almada – Arrested for trafficking and more than 31 doses of cannabis seized
The Territorial Command of Porto, through the Núcleo de Investigação Criminal (NIC) of Santo Tirso, on the 18th of August, arrested a 31-year-old man, for drug trafficking, in the municipality of Almada.
As part of a complaint informing that a parcel was found at the premises of a carrier, in the municipality of Valongo, with strong indications of containing a narcotic product, due to the strong odor, the Guard military immediately went to the location, where it was possible to verify that inside five boxes there was a narcotic product, which was immediately seized. Following the police steps, a search was carried out in a commercial establishment, which was the recipient of the order, based in the municipality of Almada, where it was possible to seize 31 doses of cannabis.
The detainee was made an arguido and the facts were communicated to the Judicial Court of Valongo.
