A CB Expo & Conference – Cannabis Business Expo and Conference – the full conference program is now available, which takes place on the 15th and 16th of September at the Kongresszentrum and Brauturm, in Dortmund, Germany, parallel to the Intertabac. Shortly after the German Federal Cabinet approved the bill that aims to regulate the adult use of cannabis in the country, CB Expo promises to be the meeting place for the industry and all those interested in the cannabis sector in Europe. As Media partners, Cannareporter readers have a 20% discount on CB Expo access tickets, simply use the code cbexpo2023-cannareporter.

Following the success of previous editions in Zurich, this year marks the first collaboration between CB Expo and Messe Dortmund, which runs in parallel with InterTabac in Germany. There will be two days of exhibition, conferences and networking, connecting the tobacco, vaporization and cannabis industries for the first time.

The main focus of CB Expo 2023 is the effort to legalize cannabis for recreational use in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Malta and Luxembourg and how the European cannabis industry needs to position itself and establish itself to accommodate the new regulation. Leading companies present their brands, products and services in the Expo area and the CB Lounge offers space for discussions and networking. Around 1.000 visitors and 100 exhibitors are expected.

The main stage of the event will host panel discussions focusing on the following topics: German and European legalization efforts, the Dutch experience, operational efficiency and sustainability for companies in the cannabis sector, investments and exploration of common ground and learning opportunities between tobacco and cannabis industries. Most presentations and discussions will be conducted in English. All Main Stage panels are simultaneously translated into German or English. The complete program can be consulted here.

On the other hand, in the “Deep Dive Stage” and educational stage, the sessions explore the subject in depth through masterclasses and lectures:

– CBD Sessions
