GrowerIQ receives 1 million funding from the Government of Canada

GrowerIQ, a cannabis technology company, has just received 1.080.000 Canadian dollars from the government of Canada, in a project funded by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario). In a press release, GrowerIQ says the funding will be used to further improve the company's comprehensive cannabis tracking system and solidify its position as a global leader in the industry.
According to the press release, GrowerIQ's mission is to “revolutionize the management of cannabis production facilities around the world by providing a robust and integrated solution.” Its platform is the operational backbone that enables highly regulated cannabis companies to bring together fragmented systems, digitize operations, and scale profitably. With its cutting-edge technology, GrowerIQ already powers facilities in more than 12 countries.
This round of financing increases the total investment in GrowerIQ and demonstrated investors' strong confidence in the company's vision and technology. The company recently announced a exclusive contract with the Government of Barbados to manage all cannabis production on the island.
Andrew Wilson, CEO of GrowerIQ, said, “We are thrilled to have secured this funding to accelerate our mission to transform the cannabis industry. This investment will allow us to further develop our cutting-edge technology and expand our global presence. We are committed to providing cannabis producers with the tools they need to succeed in an increasingly competitive market.”
GrowerIQ is the operational foundational ERP that unites the fragmented systems required by cannabis production facilities around the world. The company works with facilities in more than 12 countries and in four languages, allowing traceability from seed to sale.
