Portugal: 3rd edition of Medical Cannabis Europe takes place in Lisbon this Thursday and Friday

With more than 25 national and international speakers of reference in the area of ​​medicinal cannabis, the third edition of Medical Cannabis Europe starts this Thursday at the National Pharmacy Association, in Lisbon. Organized by Stepscience Pharma & Engineering and the Pharmaceutical Studies Laboratory (LEF), the conference takes place on the 28th and 29th of September, and will debate topics from cultivation, manufacturing and distribution to the commercialization and regulation of the national and global medical cannabis market.

Aimed at pharmacists, professionals and investors in the medical cannabis industry, as well as other professionals in the pharmaceutical and health industry and anyone who may be interested in this topic, the event's main objective is to promote the networking among the main companies in the sector. In this third edition, for the first time, a scientific poster competition will take place in the context of medicinal cannabis.

During the 2 days of the conference, various topics related to cannabis plant-based preparations and substances for medicinal purposes will be discussed, namely production and market trends, expectations in terms of qualification and validation, transport and import/export requirements, evidence clinic or business sustainability models, among other topics of relevance to all participants
