It is definitely the meeting place for cannabis culture in Portugal. On the 18th and 19th of November this year, the cannadouro celebrates the 6th edition of the Portuguese International Hemp Fair, at Alfândega do Porto, a historic building on the banks of the Douro River. More than 5.000 visitors are expected in this 6th edition, which will pay special tribute to one of the founders of Cannadouro, Alberto Pires, who passed away unexpectedly last September.

According to the Cannadouro organization “there is only one cannabis”, so companies, brands and associations from all sectors will gather at the fair: industrial, medicinal and recreational, in more than 60 stands.

At the same time, there are conferences, full of information about the use of cannabis and hemp today, both at an agricultural, industrial, recreational, therapeutic and medicinal level.

In outer space, visitors will find food trucks, bars and a stage with several musical performances over the two days. The daily ticket costs €10 and the two-day pass costs €15. Can be purchased at Ticketline.

Today, Cannadouro is much more than a fair. It is a project that is developed in several aspects and throughout the year through Cannadouro Magazine and Cannadouro Guide.

“Our Magazine is launched with the arrival of each new season of the year, and transmits information to its readers from an anti-prohibitionist perspective, through news, reports, interviews and in-depth articles about cannabis. The motto of the only magazine dedicated to cannabis in Portugal is 'Towards the legality of cannabis'”, says João Carvalho, director of the magazine.

O Guide Cannadouro is a list of contacts of all participants in the cannabis sector along the western Atlantic strip of the Iberian Peninsula: Portugal and Galicia (Spain) for greater proximity between professionals and customers, in a cross-border logic.

The entire Cannadouro universe can be visited at https://cannadouro.pt/
