Montemor-o-Velho: Arrested for cannabis cultivation
The Coimbra Territorial Command, through the Criminal Investigation Unit (NIC) of the Montemor-o-Velho Territorial Detachment, today, May 9th, arrested a 43-year-old man, for cultivating cannabis, in the municipality of Montemor-o -Old.
As part of an investigation into cannabis cultivation, which had been going on for around three months, the Guard military carried out two search warrants, one at home and three in vehicles, which culminated in the arrest of the suspect and the seizure of the following material :
- 124 doses of supreme cannabis;
- A greenhouse.
The suspect was arrested and the facts were reported to the Judicial Court of Montemor-o-Velho.
The action was reinforced by military personnel from the Montemor-o-Velho Territorial Post.
