Maren Krings, author of the book “H is for Hemp”, presents a documentary about Ukraine today, in Lisbon

Maren Krings, photojournalist and author of the book “H is for Hemp” is in Lisbon today to present his new documentary about reconstruction efforts in Ukraine using hemp. The session will take place at Livraria Liberty Lisbon, in Santos, at 19pm and will be followed by a Q&A.
Speaking to CannaReporter®, Maren Krings said that “seeing the hemp industry rising from the ashes [in Ukraine], ready to offer a method of reconstruction aligned with the [United Nations] Global Sustainable Development Goals, was one of the moments most exciting experiences I have experienced in my eight years of reporting in this industry. Ukraine is developing a plan to solve the problem of ecological footprint, waste, raw materials and energy consumption within the global construction industry and we need a quick solution. Wars and natural disasters are happening at a breakneck pace, putting pressure on governments to find solutions,” she says.
Anyone who wants to leaf through the book and order a copy will have the opportunity to do so directly from the author today.
Rua da Esperança nº 21, Lisbon
