CB Expo returns to Dortmund, Germany, with Intertabac from 19 to 21 September
A Cannabis Business Expo and Conference (CB Expo), organized by Ben Arn, will take place from 19 to 21 September 2024, at Messe Dortmund, as part of the Intertabac, the world’s largest trade fair for tobacco products and smoking accessories. The main focuses of CB Expo 2024 include the early legalization of recreational cannabis in Germany and other European countries, the promotion of hemp as a raw material and the challenges and trends of cannabis in medicine. The aim of CB Expo is to establish a sustainable European cannabis industry for future generations.
The CB Expo area offers several side events, with space for conversations and opportunities to networking as well as several conference panels with speakers who will discuss current topics and share their knowledge in masterclasses.
From cultivation to finished products, the CB Expo and Conference brings together key stakeholders from the cannabis industry in Dortmund, focusing on the ongoing drive to legalise cannabis for recreational use in European countries and the necessary strategic positioning and establishment of the European cannabis industry in light of these changes.
The conference topics, which feature speakers such as Alfredo Pascual from Seed Innovations, Finn Hansel from Sanity Group, Jurgen Bickel from Storz & Bickel, Rui Soares from Paralab Green, Patrick Hoffman from Cantourage Group, or Farida Hussain from Dovetail Consulting, among others, revolve around the emerging global market of the cannabis industry and aims to also reach InterTabac visitors.
According to the CB Expo organization, “this collaboration can offer both industries an opportunity to innovate, establish contacts and promote the exchange of knowledge to help generate new business opportunities and bring innovative solutions to tobacco use”.
CB Expo takes place in parallel, simultaneously and at the same location as InterTabac. Access to CB Expo is included in the ticket price for all 14.000 trade visitors to InterTabac, which includes over 700 stands and 150 speakers. InterTabac, on the other hand, is accessible to all exhibitors and visitors to CB Expo.
