SOMAÍ announces exclusive partnership with Sherbinskis and Boutiq

A SOMAÍ Pharmaceuticals, a company based in Lisbon, secured exclusive rights manufacturing and distribution of two of California's most famous cannabis brands: sherbinskis e Boutique. This agreement aims to redefine the distribution of medicinal cannabis in Europe and Australia. The collaboration will ensure that European and Australian patients will have access to pharmaceutical-grade formulations, as well as legendary strains and cutting-edge cannabis products in the near future, the company said in a press release. This access will be supported by SOMAÍ’s EU-GMP facilities and its global sales network.

SOMAÍ, a vertically integrated, EU-GMP certified multi-country operator (MCO), will begin immediate supply of Sherbinskis extract-based products in Europe and Australia. Sherbinskis, known for its cult classics such as Gelato and Sunset Sherbert, will now offer its genetics through rigorously tested, medical-grade formulations. “Patients benefit from the consistent potency, standardized dosage and pharmacological safety that only an EU-GMP platform can guarantee,” SOMAÍ said in a statement.

Boutiq's innovative vaporizer cartridges, prerolls, live-diamonds and advanced inhalation oils will join the SOMAÍ portfolio, elevating the experience of consuming premium cannabis for therapeutic use. SOMAÍ aims to address the diverse needs of patients, from chronic pain management to anxiety relief, by combining Sherbinskis’ inherited genetics with Boutiq’s technical prowess.

EU-GMP manufacturing: Quality, Safety and Consistency

The partnership focuses primarily on SOMAÍ’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, located in Carregado, in the Lisbon district. The facility operates in accordance with EU-GMP guidelines, ensuring that each batch meets pharmaceutical standards for purity, microbial limits and cannabinoid profile. “Advanced extraction processes are carefully developed to fully preserve the spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes, providing patients with the ‘entourage’ effect, a synergy of cannabis compounds that has been shown to deliver significantly superior therapeutic results,” said SOMAÍ.

SOMAÍ’s vertically integrated model also includes NovaSoma, its indoor cultivation facility, which supplies botanical raw materials grown under meticulously monitored conditions. The closed-loop system reduces supply chain risks, ensuring product integrity from start to finish.

Sherbinskis has established a prominent position in the cannabis market through meticulous breeding of exotic genetics. Gelato, resulting from the crossing between the Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies, has a balanced THC to CBD ratio, as well as a terpene-rich profile, making it ideal for symptom relief without inducing sedation.
