SENSIHEMP wins excellence award at CSFW in Madrid with collection made 100% from hemp

SENSIHEMP, a Portuguese hemp fashion brand founded by Marta Vinhas, made a memorable presentation at the 9th edition of Circular Sustainable Fashion Week Madrid (CSFW), on April 24th and 26th, 2025, and brought to Portugal the “The Circular Project” Award for the Best Sustainable Fashion Brand.
“SENSIHEMP has received the TCP award at CSFW Madrid 2025 for its exquisite taste and admirable work with hemp, from the root,” said Paloma García López, director and founder of CSFW Madrid. This recognition underscores the exceptional quality of its designs, its commitment to sustainability and its unwavering dedication to textile regeneration, from the origin of the fiber to the final design.
Thanks to this award, SENSIHEMP will guarantee the brand's presence in The Circular Project store, in the center of Madrid, for one year, support with strategic communication and an impact assessment, among other support for the operation and continuity of the project.
Speaking to CannaReporter®, Marta Vinhas, founder of SENSIHEMP, said that “this award represents much more than external recognition; it is a symbolic embrace of a demanding path, made of resilience. It involved years of research, sleepless nights and the courage to invest my own resources in a mission that I have always believed in. — create a hemp clothing brand — even when few understood it”. Marta added that this moment “validates not only my effort, but also that of all those who have been by my side since the beginning, who believed, collaborated and made the presentation of this collection possible. I share this award with each of them. It is, above all, a motivation to continue with even more determination.”
100% Hemp Collection — Zero Waste
The collection presented was created exclusively from hemp fibers and with pieces of upcycling, reusing leftovers from the brand’s own cuts. The result delighted the public with its natural and contemporary aesthetic, with a focus on versatility, timelessness and the circularity of the creative process. The presentation in Madrid also marked the official launch of SENSIHEMP’s womenswear line, opening a new chapter in the brand’s history.
The highlights of the collection include minimalist and essential pieces, with clean cuts and organic shapes, as well as modular and reversible models, created to adapt to different moments and styles.

Collaboration was born from friendship with J-ANT.
The SENSIHEMP collection also featured a very special collaboration with the Algarve brand J-ANT., founded by Jéssica António. This partnership resulted in 4 pieces with exquisite craftsmanship and hand-crafted details using the upcycling.
Known for her artistic approach and slow fashion, J-ANT. brought a subtle elegance to the SENSIHEMP collection that won over the audience. This creative union now culminates in an international debut.
“In addition to being a friend, I am also a fan of J-ANT. We met on an online impact entrepreneurship program and, since then, a strong friendship has been born. We haven’t had the opportunity to meet in person yet, but I felt that this was the right time to co-create with Jéssica and take her art through SENSIHEMP to the catwalks in Madrid,” said Marta.
J-ANT is a fashion brand slow fashion based in the Algarve, known for its approach to different textile techniques and the use of textile waste, creating unique, exclusive and visibly artistic pieces.
