Vila Viçosa – Two arrested for drug trafficking
The Évora Territorial Command, through the Reguengos de Monsaraz Criminal Investigation Unit, on October 1, arrested a 29-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman for drug trafficking, in the municipality of Vila Viçosa.
As part of a complaint regarding the crime of drug trafficking, which reported the presence of several cannabis plants in a tourist development located in the aforementioned municipality, the Guard's military personnel carried out police investigations that culminated in a house search.
The operation resulted in the arrest of the suspects and the seizure of various materials, including:
- Five cannabis plants, in different stages of maturity;
- Seven doses of marijuana;
- Cannabis seeds.
The detainees were charged and the facts were reported to the Évora Judicial Court.
