The Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo promotes "Adapting International Hemp to Japan's New Regulations"
The International Business Meeting “Adapting the International Hemp Market to the New Japanese Regulations” will take place tomorrow, November 13, 2025, at the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo. The event is organized by AIHF – Asia International Hemp Federation and TiHTA – Thailand Industrial Hemp Trade Association, with the support of the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo, in cooperation with CannSociety, Asabis Inc., and the Japan International Hemp Exhibition (JIHE). It will focus on ensuring compliance and developing the international market for hemp and CBD products, considering the new Japanese regulations, which have been gradually implemented since last year.
According to the organization, “the objective of this event is to bring together representatives from Thailand, a leader in the hemp industry in Asia; the United States, the world's largest market; European countries implementing advanced initiatives; and Japan, where a new market environment is emerging following legal revisions.”
Participants will share knowledge and create new business opportunities. Officials from the Royal Thai Government and executives from industry associations in various countries will be present for discussions ranging from the latest regulatory information to specific avenues for international cooperation.
"This is an opportunity to build future-oriented international partnerships, under the important theme of the new Japanese regulations," the organization states.
This event is aimed at professionals in the CBD/hemp sector, those interested in developing international hemp businesses, those interested in the CBD/hemp market in Thailand or the USA, or in collaborating with local companies, those interested in introducing Thai plant-based wellness products to the Japanese market, and those interested in investing, starting new ventures, or establishing partnerships in the CBD/hemp sector.
