BERLIN, GERMANY – [November 27, 2025] – A Weed.de (“Weed”), a digital platform for cannabis information, is reporting on the availability of medicinal cannabis products from the 187 Strassenbande in Germany.

As part of the collaboration, the Weed.de platform will provide editorial coverage of the 187-Sweedz project and offer users information about the journey from cultivation to the final product. The partnership brings together the German hip-hop group 187 Strassenbande, with a consolidated presence in the country's lifestyle scene, and Marry Jane, a cannabis producer with operations in several European markets.

The group, based in Hamburg, developed the cannabis genetics in collaboration with Marry Jane. Each of the five members – Bonez MC, Gzuz, LX, Maxwell, and Sa4 – was involved in the development of a distinct strain. Cultivation takes place in Switzerland.
Marry Jane was founded in 2017 and operates in Switzerland and several EU markets. The collaboration with 187 Strassenbande began with the introduction of a seed line before expanding to the development of a wider range of varieties.

Together, they worked with Swiss growers to create versions of the artists' varieties. Production takes place in Switzerland using manual pruning techniques and suspended drying.

“Cannabis is part of our culture, our music, our identity,” say 187 Strassenbande. “This isn’t a marketing project, it’s something we’ve wanted to do for a long time.”

“This collaboration reflects our mission at Weed.de: to connect culture and progress,” said Richard Cowan, CEO of Weed.de.

“Historically, cannabis varieties have emerged from dialogue between growers and the community – a tradition that continues to shape modern genetics. With the 187 Strassenbande, this story continues.”
