Cannabis drinks market expected to reach more than €5 billion in 2031

The global cannabis-infused beverage market is expected to grow to around $6 billion (€5,1 billion) over the next decade, according to a new report led by the market research firm. Fact. MR. Cannabis-infused beverage revenue reached €213 million at the end of 2020.

The study highlights the potential growth of the cannabis beverage category, and reveals that non-alcoholic cannabis beverages will account for more than half of the sector's sales over the next 10 years. CBD-based drinks are expected to account for three out of five sales during the same period.

Over the next decade, the market value is forecast to expand to 24 times more than it currently is, rising by around 38%.

Rosario Dawson joins Cann's board

Actress Rosario Dawson has joined the board of Cann, a California-based low-THC cannabis beverage company, to promote the diversity of the company's products. Dawson is a companion of New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, who advocates the federal legalization of cannabis. Booker is one of three authors of the Cannabis Administration and Opportunity Act (CAOA), which aims to legalize cannabis and promote social equality.
