APCANNA promotes session on veterinary medicine

A APCANNA — Portuguese Cannabis Information Association, resumes its activities tomorrow, with a webinar focused on the therapeutic potential of cannabis in companion animals. Elena Battaglia, an Italian doctor specializing in cannabinoid-based therapies will be the keynote speaker.

Elena Battaglia helped the Jack, Soraia Tomás' dog, President of APCANNA, to respond to lung cancer through cannabinoid therapy. After starting to take CBD, THC and CBG, among other cannabinoids, Jack significantly improved his quality of life.

APCANNA — Associação Portuguesa de Informação sobre Canábis is a non-profit association, established in 2020, whose main mission is to disseminate reliable information about the cannabis plant in all its aspects, being a representative voice of the Portuguese community and its interests. .

The Association is composed of a young team, dedicated to the promotion of information, education, demystification and awareness of the various uses of cannabis, due to the misinformation resulting from almost a century of prohibition.

The Portuguese cannabis landscape is changing, and APCANA wants to be part of this change. The projects that will be developed offer a strong pedagogical and citizenship component, and the Association will begin to accept new members soon.
