New paper cannabis magazine hits newsstands this week

CANNADOURO MAGAZINE is a paper magazine dedicated to disseminating information about cannabis, and it hits newsstands this week. The magazine will be published quarterly, marking the beginning of each season, while covering the various stages of growth of this plant with multiple uses.
The news was advanced this week by Media and Advertising. The first issue of Cannadouro Magazine is published the day spring begins and is dedicated to seeds. Cannareporter is a partner of Cannadouro Magazine, having contributed with various content such as news, reports, interviews and feature articles on cannabis and hemp.
For João Carvalho, director of the magazine, Cannadouro Magazine comes “to transmit to readers information that allows a more conscious and informed use of the cannabis plant, in an anti-prohibitionist perspective”, he says in a press release.
“Knowing that in Portugal there are more than 500 people who use cannabis regularly, the magazine’s target audience is everyone who uses or is interested in cannabis in all its aspects: therapeutic, medicinal, industrial, cultural and recreational”, says the director.
CANNADOURO MAGAZINE also gives a voice to patients who use cannabis for medicinal purposes and informs civil society about all advances related to the therapeutic potential of cannabis, from a rigorous and scientific point of view.
CANNADOURO MAGAZINE also aims to promote the dissemination and use of hemp agro-industrial as a resource and raw material for a more ecological and sustainable experience, recovering the important historical role that hemp played in Portugal, before the petrochemical era.
Main themes of the magazine: Activism and politics; News; self-cultivation; Agro-industrial hemp; Medicinal Cannabis; Interview “The voice of patients”; Risk management; Plants of the World; “Take the cannabis out of the closet” interviews.
Promoted by the non-profit Cultural Association Cannadouro, responsible for the Fair International Hemp, an event that takes place annually at the Customs of Porto, CANNADOURO MAGAZINE marks, from Nº 1, its trajectory defining the motto “Towards the legality of cannabis”.
